About Me

Hello, and welcome to Peach Pits and Chicken Bones!

My name is Leah. I love to cook, I love my family, I love my dog, decorating, sleeping in, shopping and flipping between Bravo and The Food Network on rainy afternoons. I also love writing. I hope you love reading my blog.

"Peach Pits and Chicken Bones" is an homage to my Grandma Kathy. A few years ago we were visiting for Thanksgiving and her garbage disposal was broken. She had posted a sign (written, as always, in impeccable cursive) above the sink that read: "Please, no peach pits or chicken bones down the disposal. Thank you, The Management." It was classic Grandma K. and one of my favorite memories of her.

  2. Is the origin French Canadian, by any chance? It was my nickname when I was a child. Family from Quebec.
